About: Croyde is a very popular beach with surfers and during the season the lifeguard is in attendance during the day. The dunes to the back of the beach make an excellent wind break and a nice soft place to sit.

About: From Dittisham it is possible to get a ferry across the river to Greenway the only surviving home of Agatha Christie. Greenway was given to the National Trust by Agatha Christie's family in 2000 and has undergone a major restoration.
