About: We visited Barricane Beach in North Devon twice on the same day to capture the different states of the tide. In the early morning the beach only had a few people and the sand was looking pristine as it had recently been washed by the sea

About: This was the second trip that we made to Barricane Beach in the same day and we were rewarded with a lovely sunset. The jagged rocks make a perfect line to add interest to the photograph.

Shell Beach or Barricane

About: Barricane Beach in North Devon is often referred to as Shell Beach because the beach is made up of shingle and shells. Strangely a great many of these shells are not native to this country
