About: Crow Point at the mouth of the estuary has an abundance of sand but it is apprently a good place for fishermen and nature lovers. Seals , Curlews and flocks of migrating birds can be observed from the beach.

About: The vast amount of fine yellow sand at Crow Point and beyond make a fantastic photograph with this large rock in the foreground. look at the base of the rock and it is possible to see the sand blowing around as it was such a windy day.

About: The white house in this photograph certainly stands out on this beautiful but very windy day. The dunes that back this beach are extensive and the views to Northam Burrows and Instow beach are stunning.

About: This area is often referred to as Tarka Country as it was made famous by Henry Williamson's book Tarka the Otter. The place where the Taw and Torridge meet and run together for the last few miles to the open sea.

About: The wreck in the estuary at Crow Point was covered with a light film of fine sand which was blowing around everywhere on the day that we visited. No one seems sure how Crow Point got its name. One school of thought is that it came from the look-out,......
