About: The bay at Lee is flanked on either side by an imposing rocky coastline and the valley at Lee is known as Fuchsia Valley because the vivid red, pink and purple bells of the fuchsia bloom are seen everywhere during the summer months

About: Lee village is very attractive with thatched roof cottages a Victorian church and village hall. There is a craft shop in the old school room and the old mill plus the village pub which serves lunch and dinner most days

About: There is a small car park at Lee Bay and it is then a short walk down through the village to get to the beach. The notice board near the car park makes fascinating reading and keeps everone up to date.

About: When the tide is out there is quite a bit of sand at Lee bay and these canoeist must have decided that this was a safe place to leave there canoes.

Easy access to the Sea

About: The presence of green slippery seaweed on a lot of the rocks at Lee Bay means that it is easier to walk along the concrete to reach the sea.
