Red Desert/Beach Place: Shaldon Category: Geology Please select a size: 800x600 - 1024x768 About: On this cloudy day the beach at Ness cove looked very red. The vibrant rusty colour of the cliffs and beach shows they were formed in desert conditions these were prevalent in the Triassic Period about 250-200 millions years ago. Ness Drive, Shaldon Place: Shaldon Category: Attractions Please select a size: 800x600 - 1024x768 About: Shaldon Wildlife Park is located at Ness Drive on the day we visited there were fund raising stalls entertainment and jugglers.
