About: This cannon at Torrington at torrington 1646 certainly seems to be in a commanding location. From the vantage point on the hill this cannon would be a in the right place to repel the opposition during the English Civil War.

About: Torrington 1646 the attraction on Castle Hill is a good place for a visit. The guides all dress in period costume and assume the tongue of the century so get used to being called a good fellow or a wench or some other phrase from the time.
