About: The 250 seat HATS Theatre in Bodmin Street is run by HATS - Holsworthy Amateur Theatrical Society which was created in 1971, from a merger between the Holsworthy Dramatic Society (formed after World War 1) and the Holsworthy Theatre Club (formed in 1957). This combined group acquired a derelict cinema and converted it into a theatre. They put on plays and pantomimes and the theatre is used both for their productions and events run by the local community
